SmileNotes exists to preserve the wisdom that often goes unspoken in the dental community—the insights behind how people think, lead, and grow through their work. What makes great professionals great is rarely just titles or achievements, but the lessons learned along the way.

As the storytelling and reflection arm of Daughters of Dental, SmileNotes shares these lessons through two formats: SmileNotes Weekly and SmileNotes Magazine. Together, they turn everyday experiences into insight—making professional wisdom accessible, lasting, and meaningful for the next generation.

Why SmileNotes Exists

SmileNotes Weekly

A page with motivational text about creating, solving, and acting like a professional or entrepreneur, with part of a keyboard and a blurred smartphone in the background.

SmileNotes Weekly is a short, consistent rhythm of encouragement and insight. Each week, we share a brief reflection, a quote or lesson from a conversation, or a small piece of wisdom worth carrying forward.

It’s designed to be easy to read, easy to share, and easy to return to.

SmileNotes Magazine

A close-up photo of an open book with curled pages, lying on a dark surface, with blurred indoor lighting in the background.

SmileNotes Magazine is where we go deeper. It features in-depth interviews and profiles, leadership and life stories, behind-the-scenes looks at different paths in dentistry, and reflections from across the profession—including select youth voices from the next generation.

This is the keepsake. The long-form. The story archive.
